Full moon activation of your life energy. A transmission of the lineage

Welcome to Shaktipat.

Shaktipat is one of the most profound rituals we offer. Humbled by its intelligence, power, and simplicity. Held around the Full Moon, this Tantric ritual invites the awakening of your life force - Kundalini - within a safe, sacred, and lineage-based space.

This is more than meditation.
It is a mystical journey.
An activation.
A remembrance.

This is for you if you feel

  • A desire for spiritual depth and profound, authentic awakening

  • Higher states of awareness substance-free and effortlessly

  • Drawn to white (traditional) Tantra, or ancient energetic rituals

  • Curious about deepening your own capacity to flow Kundalini

  • Longing to experience yourself beyond the mind - or like a participant said: “waves of laughter, blissful sensations, and a heart open wide.”

What is Shaktipat?

Shaktipat means “descent of grace.”
A solo meditation held in a collective ritual field—where sacred elements like Ganga water, Kumkum, sacred ash, and third eye blessings open energetic pathways.

Guided by ancient Vedic chants and collective presence, this ritual can bring waves of energy, emotional release, visions, or a sense of coming home.

It could dissolve blocks, bring clarity, and connect you to a deeper stillness within.

Each experience is unique. Each is welcome.
Expect nothing.
Receive everything.

A safe pathway to awakening

Kundalini is your untapped life force, resting at the base of your spine. When awakened, Kundalini can bring deep transformation - physical, emotional, and spiritual - activating your soul’s potential in daily life.

There are many ways this energy can awaken: through yoga, breathwork, birth, plant medicine, or spontaneously. Shaktipat offers a safe, grounded, and intentional pathway - held in a traditional lineage that knows how to guide the process with care.

The Siddha Lineage

This Shaktipat is offered in the Siddha lineage—a Tantric tradition over 5,000 years old.
Its purpose is the direct and effortless awakening of Kundalini.
Through ritual and prayer, we invoke the presence of Bhagavan Nityananda, an Indian mystic from Maharashtra.

Karlijn Kouwenhoven received initiation into this lineage through Bud Barber in 2016 (Melbourne) and has since shared Shaktipat in Koh Phangan, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Vienna. Despite a fair amount of Dutch groundedness, and an unfamiliarity with rituals and energetic bodies, the SHAKTIPAT immediately provided a sense of home again and welcoming energy. As participant Chantal said: “This is Magic I do believe in.”

The SHAKTIPAT SPECIAL with Bodhi Baba Lineage

On October 4th meditation teacher Bodhi Baba is flying over from the USA to join us in the shaktipat. Karlijn and Bodhi will perform the ritual together, for you to receive the full benefits of his presence and experience their shared qualities.

Bodhi Baba has over 40 years of experience in training & teaching Tantra Yoga meditation and Kundalini to his students worldwide. He was specifically ordained to administer Shaktipat; to perform Kundalini awakening rituals, by the Siddha Guru, Swami Muktananda (affectionately known as ‘Baba’).

Bodhi’s own ‘Diva Diksha’ or Kundalini awakening occurred on, 6 Aug. 1969 while practicing the ‘fire breath pranayama’. He received his qualification to teach Siddha Yoga on, 28 Aug 1977 and was officially ordained by Muktananda approximately one year later.

He is now one of the few existing traditional Tantra Yoga teachers, chosen by a Siddha Guru, who still performs this ceremony.
